Our Story

Fashion for us has always been more than fabric and thread. From earliest memories, fashion has been the most natural form of expression. Finding joy in experimenting with clothes using color and texture as a way to tell stories, to honor where we come from, and to imagin where we are going.

That early passion has eventually become a calling which breathes life into this brand.

The brand started with Ankara fabrics, drawn to their vibrancy and ability to capture emotion through pattern. Over time however a deep pull was felt toward something even more personal, Toghu also known as Atoghu.
Toghu is far more than a textile. It is traditionally hand embroidered on rich velvet which was once worn exclusively by royalty and dignitaries in the grassfield regions of Cameroon, as a symbol of status, pride, and cultural identity. Each stitch crafted meticulously by artisans tells a story of ancestry, of resilience, and of artistry passed down through generations. Transitioning the brand to focus exclusively on toghu wasn’t just a design choice it was an act of embracing where we come from and sharing that beauty with the world.
we work exclusively with local artisans in Cameroon to produce authentic Toghu embroidery, ensuring that traditional techniques are preserved while creating meaningful economic opportunities for the communities behind the fabric
By reimagining Toghu for contemporary fashion, the goal has been to honor its regal origins while giving it new life on global runways and in everyday wear.
Each piece created carries a piece of our story a blend of tradition and modern expression. Through these designs we want people not only to wear art but also feel the history, pride, and resilience woven into every stitch. The goal is to continue elevating African craftsmanship particularly Cameroonian artistry.
As we continue this journey, we are eager to grow, collaborate, and tell stories that connect people through culture and creativity. We believe fashion has the power to heal, unite, and inspire, and are deeply committed to using this craft to make that impact.

Thank you for trusting us with your amazing taste and we hope you get the maximum satisfaction from our clothes as much as we enjoy offering them to you. If you do have any comments or inquiries please do not hesitate to contact us.
